My friend Suzanne has a 14 y.o. daughter with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which is a horrible form of muscular dystrophy. Most kids with it die before 2. Erinne (her daughter) is such a fighter. She is wheelchair bound, and has had at least 40 surgeries in her life, and lives with a great deal of pain. Erinne had a spine surgery about 5 weeks ago, and she seemed to be making a good recovery, but this week she has been in excruciating pain, and the strongest pain meds aren't touching the pain. Please pray for relief for Erinne, and for God's comfort for her mom, who hates to see her in such pain and not be able to help her.

A lady on our street named Valerie had surgery on her foot and can't walk so she crawls and scoots around. She lives in a split level so imagine getting around. With us leaving Monday, we won't be able to help any longer. Pray for help for her. Her husband works 2nd shift and she is by herself.

ReplyDeleteOur trip was great. Smooth flight. Worse part was lay-over in Atlanta. It's 70 today but rainy.
